It has become clear who in Russia interacts with artificial intelligence more frequently
Women in Russia engage with artificial intelligence more actively than men, highlighting shifting digital habits across age and income groups

Who in Russia Talks to AI Most Often
Analytics from MTS AdTech and Medialogia reveal that women in Russia (53%) use neural networks more actively than men (47%). This finding challenges the outdated notion that high-tech tools are primarily a male domain — and points to rapid digital adoption across diverse social groups.
A Changing Demographic Landscape
Younger users, especially those under 24, represent the largest segment engaging with AI (25%). Another strong group includes individuals aged 35 to 44 (22%). Neural networks are used least by those aged 25–34 and 45–54, yet adoption is growing even among older generations: every tenth person over 55 and 65 uses AI regularly.
The behavioral portrait is also becoming clearer. On average, users spend about five minutes working with text-based models and about 13 minutes generating images. Every tenth AI enthusiast is self-employed, an investor, or an entrepreneur — and one in three earns above the national average.
Where AI Is Used Most
Moscow unsurprisingly leads in AI activity, serving as the country's largest hub of digital adoption. Other technologically active regions include Krasnodar Krai, Moscow Region, Saint Petersburg, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Novosibirsk and Sverdlovsk Regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, and Rostov and Samara Regions.
These regional dynamics illustrate how generative AI is becoming a nationwide tool — not only for entertainment or productivity, but also as a driver of digital culture and economic development.
