Russia Unveils Compact AI Accelerator Capable of Running 100 Neural Networks Simultaneously

A breakthrough chip promises to reshape video analytics, medicine, and real-time security systems with unmatched processing power.

A Russian company has introduced a new AI accelerator designed to handle vast data volumes while taking up minimal space in data centers, according to Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

The device delivers peak performance of up to 960 trillion operations per second and can support more than 100 neural networks simultaneously. Its potential applications span a wide range of fields, including video surveillance, medical diagnostics, and industrial safety.

Thanks to its ability to process massive datasets rapidly, the accelerator is expected to enhance real-time facial recognition, traffic analysis, and urban monitoring systems. It’s also suited for biometrics, complex computational tasks, and molecular modeling in drug discovery.

In addition, the device can power corporate and cloud platforms—particularly in deploying AI solutions and user preference analytics. Experts consider it a major leap forward in AI hardware innovation within Russia’s tech ecosystem.
