Russian Marketplace Wildberries Launches Online Tire Reservation
Wildberries has partnered with service centers to let drivers reserve from over 3,000 tire models online and inspect them in person before purchase, with installation available at 36 Moscow‑area locations.
Russia’s largest e‑commerce platform, Wildberries, today unveiled a new online tire‑booking service. Through its website and mobile app, drivers can now check real‑time availability of specific tire models at partner service centers, reserve their selections remotely, and even arrange for immediate installation upon pickup.
The service offers more than 3,000 tire models across leading brands and allows customers to inspect the tires before completing payment. In addition, users can take advantage of add‑on services — such as wheel balancing and alignment — provided by Wildberries’s partner network.
At launch, 36 partner outlets in Moscow and the surrounding region are integrated into the system. Customers who reserve online can either collect their tires or have them installed on the spot. Wildberries plans to expand the service to other Russian regions later this year. This rollout follows similar online‑booking options the company introduced for electronics and home appliances.
Wildberries has been steadily broadening its non‑traditional marketplace offerings. Since 2024, customers have been able to purchase vehicles through the platform, and listings already include dacha cottages and floating homes. According to publicly available reports, Wildberries is currently in talks with two major developers to add apartment sales to its portfolio.
To support its growing ecosystem of products and services, Wildberries also aims to boost automation in its distribution centers. The company expects to raise the share of automated processes from 30 percent today to 70 percent within the next two years.
With each new service — from remote tire booking to online car sales — Wildberries is doubling down on an integrated e‑commerce experience, striving to turn its marketplace into a one‑stop shop for retail and after‑sales automotive needs.
