Thermoprofi Launches Production of Smart Heating Control Units
The equipment automatically adjusts heating system settings to weather conditions, helping buildings reduce energy consumption.
Krasnoyarsk-based Thermoprofi has started serial production of modular heating control units. The smart equipment is designed to help cut heating-season costs by automatically adjusting system temperatures to outdoor weather conditions, reducing heat consumption by up to 15%.
To support the new production line, the company built a new 600-square-meter manufacturing facility. The project was backed by the regional Industrial Development Fund, which provided a loan of 45 million rubles (about $570,000).
The company says it expects to equip at least 100 residential buildings annually with its systems. Maksim Yermakov, Minister of Industry and Trade of Krasnoyarsk Krai, said the equipment supports Russia's import-substitution goals and competes successfully with foreign alternatives. Equipment manufactured in Krasnoyarsk is already being used at residential, commercial, social-service, and industrial facilities in Khakassia, Tuva, Yakutia, and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR).
