Two Russian IT Systems Unite to Strengthen Cybersecurity

Postgres Pro, Russia’s homegrown database management system, and SafeTech CA, a corporate certification authority, have achieved full compatibility — creating a unified, secure foundation for enterprise data protection.

One Stores, the Other Protects

Postgres Professional, developer of the Postgres Pro database, and cybersecurity company SafeTech Lab have announced that their systems now work together seamlessly. This integration allows Russian enterprises to securely store, manage, and authenticate data entirely within domestic IT ecosystems.

Postgres Pro ensures reliable data storage — it’s the backbone of many government and corporate information systems. SafeTech CA, on the other hand, creates and manages digital certificates that verify data authenticity and shield networks from intrusions. In simple terms, Postgres stores, while SafeTech protects.

A Step Toward Digital Sovereignty

The joint compatibility means organizations can now build internal IT systems entirely on Russian-made software, reducing dependence on foreign platforms. SafeTech CA serves as a full replacement for Microsoft CA within enterprise networks and supports Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android environments.

Postgres Pro is included in Russia’s official software registry and certified by the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC). Its industrial version contains more than a hundred proprietary enhancements designed for enterprise-scale deployments.

By integrating these two technologies, Russian companies gain stronger, more resilient IT infrastructures. The collaboration advances the country’s digital sovereignty — ensuring that all critical technologies are developed, maintained, and secured domestically.
