A new product for corporate communication has appeared in Russia

A new multi‑platform corporate communication product developed in Russia merges a secure mobile workspace with a fully integrated messaging platform

A Secure, Integrated Corporate Workspace

Russia has introduced a new multi‑platform IT solution as Informtekhnika Group and RuPost (part of Astra Group) released the commercial version of an integration that pairs the ROSCHAT messenger with the WorksPad mobile corporate workspace system. The joint product creates a unified, encrypted environment for communication and productivity across devices.

The WorksPad platform already provides organizations with a centralized mobile workspace that includes email, calendars, contacts, office tools, a secure browser, and a mini‑app platform to streamline employee interaction with corporate systems. File sharing and network access are also supported, with all corporate data stored in an encrypted crypto‑container to ensure security on mobile devices.

With ROSCHAT integrated into WorksPad, companies gain new communication capabilities, including group and one‑on‑one calls, messaging, file exchanges, polls, and full‑scale video conferencing—all inside the protected perimeter. The interface is optimized for usability while maintaining strict data‑protection and administrative‑control requirements. The solution is designed for distributed teams that need secure and fast collaboration regardless of location.

A key feature is the ability for organizations to transition smoothly to the expanded communication suite and scale functionality step‑by‑step according to their needs.

"By combining ROSCHAT and WorksPad, we created what is essentially a super‑app — a powerful tool for business. Everything needed for digital collaboration is in one place: convenient communication, document access, and effective project management. Most importantly, it fully meets strict security requirements. Our clients receive not promises, but a real working system for efficient interaction and uninterrupted communication."

Lower IT Costs and Broader Availability

Analysts at Informtekhnika note that this technology stack can significantly reduce modernization and scaling costs and decrease total cost of ownership by more than one‑third, since companies no longer need to maintain fragmented software ecosystems. The integrated system is already available for testing and deployment.

Future development will focus on expanding the ROSCHAT platform and releasing a full SDK. Developers also plan to integrate the solution with Desktop X, an email client from RuPost. This will support a fully functional digital workspace in a single client across Astra Linux, Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS, and other operating systems.

According to Sergei Makarin, Head of Development at RuPost, this integration introduces a new level of secure digital workplace for corporate customers. The team intends to continue expanding communication tools within the containerized application model to build a safe and highly productive mobile ecosystem.

A Step Toward Corporate Technology Independence

The emergence of such integrated digital products is reshaping Russia’s IT landscape. Users gain a more comfortable, centralized, and secure mobile workplace, making work on the move significantly easier. By combining an enterprise mobility management (EMM) system with a secure messenger, the platform raises the maturity of corporate mobile solutions across the country.

This approach reduces reliance on foreign software, lowers risks of data leakage from mobile devices, and strengthens information security. Over the long term, Russia’s developers may find demand for such systems in international markets where secure communication and mobile‑workspace tools are required—particularly in Asia, the Middle East, and regions with sensitive data‑protection standards.
