AI-Powered Mall Helps Shoppers Sort Out Life — and Shopping
The space will turn into an interactive venue where visitors can interact directly with a neural network.
In the town of Krasnogorsk near Moscow, the Riga Mall shopping and entertainment complex will transform into a “GigaMall” for three days.
Through the end of December, the GigaChat neural network will help visitors sort out shopping lists, choose gifts within a set budget, plan holiday menus, calculate expenses, and even figure out how long a string of lights is needed for a Christmas tree.
From Practical Help to Holiday Cheer
A New Year-themed AI assistant stand will be installed in a dedicated area of the mall. Visitors will be able to test GigaChat’s voice mode on tablets and wrap holiday gifts in free packaging featuring designs generated by the Kandinsky neural network.
Creative banners with sample prompts and special installations will visualize the entire user journey, from the first question asked to the neural network to a finished result.
Earlier reports said that new “smart” ATMs developed by Sber are set to be installed across Russia in December. The machines feature an AI assistant powered by GigaChat as well as an express health assessment service covering ten indicators. The ATMs can be operated using voice commands.
