An AI-Powered Modeling Service Has Been Integrated Into Moscow’s Digital Twin
A new AI-powered modeling service has been integrated into Moscow’s digital twin, supporting more than two thousand management decisions each year and reshaping how the city plans and develops its infrastructure.

AI Service Integrated Into Moscow’s Digital Twin
Moscow has announced the winners of the national Leaders of Artificial Intelligence Award. The tool “Generative Design in Construction” was recognized as the best AI service of the year.
Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina explained that the service has been integrated into the virtual replica of the Russian capital. The tool creates comprehensive development models featuring social facilities and all required infrastructure, while accounting for economic efficiency, transport accessibility, and other key factors.
Moscow’s digital twin includes more than nine thousand analytical data layers and helps inform thousands of management decisions every year.
An Innovative Capital
Artificial intelligence is rapidly being deployed across many sectors of urban life in Moscow, including housing and utilities. For example, the city’s voice-based AI assistant has processed more than 180 million inquiries over the past 11 years. The virtual assistant operates around the clock, handling calls across 14 municipal hotlines.
