Arctic University Deploys AI Admissions Platform for Applicants and Staff
The Arctic State University of Arts, Culture and Creative Industries has signed a licensing agreement to deploy OtkliK II (AI Response), an AI-powered admissions platform. The service is intended to help the university process inquiries more quickly while establishing a consistent standard for communication with applicants, students, employees, and partners.

OtkliK II is a multi-agent platform for building virtual AI assistants tailored to an organization's needs. It brings inquiries from multiple communication channels into a single interface, uses the university's official document repository, helps prepare draft responses, and allows human operators to join conversations when needed. The platform integrates with the university's website, Telegram, VKontakte, and MAX.
University officials emphasize that the service is not intended to replace direct communication with staff but to serve as an additional communication tool. Responses are generated using information from the university's website and approved workflows, reducing the risk of inaccurate answers.
During the pilot project, engineers will configure the platform's knowledge base and then evaluate its performance. If the trial is successful, the university plans to expand the system to higher education institutions across Russia's Far Eastern Federal District with support from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation. Chatbots for applicants are already available on MAX and Telegram.
