Arkhangelsk Puppet Theater to Digitize Its Art Collection for Nationwide Online Gallery
Arkhangelsk Puppet Theater has joined Tuzlukov-Vernisazh, a nationwide initiative aimed at digitizing sketches and scale models created by puppet theater artists across Russia.

In 2026, the theater will digitize its artistic collection and serve as the flagship venue for the project in Russia's Northwestern Federal District.
The project is being led by the Obraztsov Puppet Theater Museum with support from the Potanin Foundation. A prominent part of the digital collection will feature works by Arkhangelsk Puppet Theater's chief artist, Elena Nikolayeva, whose portfolio includes productions based on works by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Gogol, and Gozzi.
In addition to the gallery, the platform will include virtual exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and podcasts featuring participating artists.
