At Moscow’s ‘Forum of the Future,’ Visitors Learn to Work with Artificial Intelligence

The Moscow 2030 Forum is offering a series of IT master classes where students and teachers introduce visitors to careers in artificial intelligence, quantum tech, and other digital fields.

In Russia, the Moscow 2030 Forum has launched a lineup of IT workshops for attendees. Students and faculty from local colleges run sessions that let visitors explore a variety of tech-related professions, according to the city’s Department of Education and Science.

The College of Automation and Information Technologies No. 20 set up a ‘neuro-workshop’ where guests learn how to communicate effectively with AI. More than 2,000 people have already taken part in this session.

At the Moscow State College of Electromechanics and Information Technologies, participants get a glimpse of AI-powered cities. Using a special console, over 5,000 visitors experimented with controlling electricity and water supplies.

Students from the P. M. Vostrukhin College of Communications No. 54 lead two workshops. The first shows how to build an electronic circuit board on an automated line, producing a glowing LED keychain. The second covers quantum technologies: using optical fibers, glass threads for data transmission, and network cables, guests created a segment of a secure communication line. Around 3,000 people attended these sessions.

At the Moscow College of Business Technologies, visitors try their hand at operating a bionic hand. More than 600 attendees have already tested the device.
