Each school will receive 1 million rubles (about $11,000) in funding. The money will go toward connecting schools to digital services designed to simplify routine tasks for parents, students, and teachers. Parents will be able to receive notifications when a child arrives at or leaves school, as well as monitor school meals, including whether lunch was served, what was offered, and how much it cost.

“A comprehensive digital environment is being created to provide more comfortable conditions for children, parents, and teachers,” Buryatia Head Aleksey Tsydenov said.

The platform has already completed pilot testing in the Republic of Crimea and is now expanding into other Russian regions. Buryatia became one of the first regions selected for the rollout. The agreement will not affect schools where similar systems are already in use.
