Chelyabinsk Robotics Experts to Help Kirov Region Steelmaker Expand Industrial Automation
The partnership is outlined in an agreement signed by the Chelyabinsk Region Center for Industrial Robotics and the Omutninsk Metallurgical Plant.

At INNOPROM 2026, the Chelyabinsk Region Center for Industrial Robotics and the Omutninsk Metallurgical Plant signed a cooperation agreement aimed at expanding industrial automation.
One of the partnership's key elements will be joint technology audits. They will help objectively assess the potential of Russian industrial enterprises for the subsequent deployment of robotic systems and automation technologies.
Another important element will be a regular exchange of specialists, helping strengthen workforce training and skills development.
"Cooperation with the Center for Industrial Robotics gives us access to leading expert practices and proven technological solutions. We expect our joint work to help modernize our production lines more quickly, improve product quality, and take the plant's efficiency to a new level," said Sergey Voloskov, Chief Executive Officer of OMZ JSC.
