At the core of the announcement was Kaspersky NGFW, a next-generation firewall with an antivirus module, AI-driven threat detection, an Active-Passive failover cluster, and integration with other security tools. The companies also introduced Kaspersky SD-WAN, a secure networking solution for enterprises.

The forum spotlighted broader issues as well, including third-party cyber risk management and biometric data protection—balancing convenience with confidentiality. All solutions are based on import-independent products and IT infrastructure. They have already been listed in Russia’s official registries and are undergoing certification with the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC).

Officials emphasized that these initiatives reflect the growing need to safeguard critical infrastructure and corporate networks, reduce dependence on foreign technology, and strengthen AI’s role in adaptive threat response. By securing digital services and networks, the effort is expected to lower the risk of data leaks and improve the resilience of national IT systems.

Because the solutions rely on domestic components and are certified in Russia, they carry export potential, especially in CIS markets and possibly across the Eurasian region.
