Delivery Robot for Factory Floors Created in Belgorod
It can transport workpiece blanks and tooling components.

Specialists at Belgorod State Technological University have created a robotic platform for delivering blanks and tooling components inside factory floors. The project is being implemented under the Priority-2030 strategic academic leadership program and the national Youth and Children project.
According to the developers, the device helps free enterprise employees from part of their routine work. Its core is a wheeled robotic platform with electric drives, battery power, and a height-adjustable cargo shelf. The robot can maneuver easily even in confined spaces. The machine navigates using a camera and lidar, which enable it to build a three-dimensional map of the premises. QR codes on equipment confirm delivery accuracy.
The modular design allows the platform's cargo section to be adapted for various types of parts and transport containers. Going forward, the developers plan to integrate the system with enterprise digital management tools so that transport tasks are generated in line with the needs of production areas and completion data are automatically transmitted back.
