Digital Currency Opens New Opportunities for Russia’s International Cooperation

Russian Export Center — a state organization that supports companies entering international markets — has announced a new approach to financial operations. The update was shared at the Russia–Thailand Investment Forum by Petr Zaselsky, Chairman of Roseximbank, which is part of the Center. According to him, many countries are actively transitioning to digital currency.

He noted that despite regulatory restrictions in both Russia and Thailand, the potential of digital technologies continues to grow. The Russian Export Center helps businesses use alternative payment solutions in accordance with international regulatory norms. At the same time, traditional financial instruments remain an important part of the strategy.

The initiative is important not only for the development of Russian companies but also for international business as a whole. It strengthens cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Global South. Innovative financial instruments help build a foundation for economic growth across all partner nations.
