In Russia, a new digital platform for suburban real estate, DomklikStroy, has been introduced. Developed by Sber, the platform enables users to manage every stage of construction online. According to the company, customers and contractors often face unexpected issues — missed deadlines, budget overruns, and risks of non-transparent payments. DomklikStroy digitizes each stage and brings all participants together on one platform.

For contractors, the service offers convenient planning and communication tools. For clients, it ensures full control and secure payments. All funds are stored in an escrow account at the bank, with payment released only after the client confirms the quality of completed work.

The platform is currently operating in test mode with its first users. A full rollout for all Domklik customers is planned for 2026. The service is expected to appeal especially to those looking to move outside the city. The suburban construction market has been growing rapidly over the past five years. And while the construction of apartment buildings is strictly regulated with digital tools, private housing is largely the responsibility of the developer and the customer.
