Flant And Visiology Validate BI System for Peak Workloads

Russian companies Flant and Visiology have completed interoperability testing of their products. Visiology’s BI system has received a compatibility certificate for deployment in secure containerized environments running on Deckhouse Kubernetes Platform (DKP).

The combination addresses a common challenge for enterprise customers: analytics workloads are unevenly distributed. For example, during financial reporting periods, the volume of computation can spike sharply, requiring additional capacity almost immediately. When Visiology is deployed on DKP, the platform can allocate additional resources during peak hours and release them as demand falls, while dashboards continue to operate reliably even with thousands of users.

“We have supported Kubernetes since version 3.9, and demand for containerized BI deployments among enterprise customers continues to grow. They need to integrate analytics into their existing infrastructure while gaining high availability and scalability with guaranteed component compatibility. The certificate with Flant builds on our work with validated configurations: Deckhouse Kubernetes Platform is now officially one of them,” said Alexander Nikolaev, head of integration at Visiology.

Flant explains that BI systems have a complex workload profile, with heavy queries alternating with periods of low activity, and DKP is designed to handle these fluctuations. The platform automatically scales pods and cluster nodes based on resource utilization metrics, eliminating the need for DevOps engineers to manually monitor report availability.
