Global BI Leader Integrates Widgets from Russian Developer into Its Platform

A new milestone has been achieved for Russia’s BI industry: CodexProj, a Moscow-based software company specializing in advanced visualization and data input tools, has successfully entered the global market.

The company’s Sound BI platform and its suite of interactive widgets have been added to FanRuan’s FineBI marketplace — a major international ecosystem for business analytics solutions. This collaboration highlights the growing competitiveness of Russian digital products and their ability to drive efficiency in data visualization worldwide.

Sound BI Gains International Recognition

CodexProj’s widgets, known under the Sound BI brand, were officially listed on Russia’s major IT portal TAdviser earlier this year. Soon after, FanRuan — a Chinese company founded in 2006 and ranked sixth in the 'Top 100 Chinese AI Companies 2025' by EqualOcean and Tsinghua University — integrated Sound BI widgets into its FineBI marketplace. FanRuan’s technologies are already used by more than 30,000 companies globally, including Huawei, Alibaba, and Red Bull.

According to FanRuan representatives, Sound BI’s tools offer unique functionality that enhances decision-making. For instance, one of the company’s pharmaceutical clients reduced production downtime by using CodexProj’s intelligent visualization features. Today, these Russian-made widgets account for the majority of visualization extensions in the FineBI marketplace and are already in use across seven countries.

“Users can now receive updates on key metrics before even opening their dashboards — through email, Telegram, or other integrated channels. For most professionals, timely alerts and contextual insights are essential for quick decision-making, and Sound BI provides exactly that.”

Innovation Through Customization and Voice Analytics

CodexProj’s journey began in 2024, when the team introduced its flagship Sound BI platform — a customizable digital ecosystem designed for business analytics.

The platform offers fully customizable widgets that can visualize and even 'voice' key metrics, providing an additional layer of accessibility and engagement for users. At that time, there was no comparable solution in the Russian BI market.

A year later, CodexProj developed a specialized set of widgets for Visiology Dashboards, Russia’s own BI environment. These components allowed users to integrate interactive charts, dynamic data layers, and 3D visualizations directly into their dashboards. By 2025, Sound BI widgets became part of FineBI’s marketplace, solidifying CodexProj’s role as an international contributor to the BI ecosystem.

The Future of BI: Sound, Interaction, and Sovereignty

The Sound BI widgets cover a wide range of visualization needs, including adaptive data views, 3D and audiovisual components, dynamic behaviors, and multi-level data structures. Unlike traditional BI visuals, Sound BI widgets do not simply duplicate dashboard content — they expand it by providing auditory cues and real-time notifications. Users can receive alerts via email or messaging apps like Telegram, ensuring immediate access to critical data insights without staring at dashboards all day.

This innovation directly addresses the demand for flexible, import-independent visualization solutions in Russia’s IT landscape. It strengthens the country’s technological sovereignty by offering local BI visualization tools, integration capabilities, and an expanding partner ecosystem. Moreover, by entering FineBI’s global marketplace, CodexProj has opened new export opportunities — with planned expansion to English-language markets across South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and the UAE.
