Hundreds of Cameras to Oversee Exams in Novgorod Region
The Novgorod Region has deployed 354 surveillance cameras installed by Rostelecom to monitor the Unified State Exam (EGE). The equipment has been installed in 177 examination rooms and at the regional information processing center.
Most of the cameras have been deployed in Veliky Novgorod, as well as the Borovichsky and Starorussky districts. Live video feeds are available through the Smotri EGE (Watch the Unified State Exam) portal to accredited specialists and public observers.
The monitoring campaign covers the early, main, and additional examination periods. The additional session will take place from Sept. 4 to Sept. 25 for students who were unable to take or pass the exams for valid reasons. Video recordings will be stored at the data processing center until March 1, 2027.
