Kaspersky’s KICS for Nodes Earns International Certification
Industrial cybersecurity solution from Kaspersky Lab passes AV-Comparatives testing

The Russian-developed security solution KICS for Nodes from Kaspersky Lab has passed international certification by AV-Comparatives, the company’s press service said. Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity (KICS) for Nodes is a key component of the company’s protection system for industrial enterprises.
Testing has shown that the solution complies with international standards. Evaluators assessed how the system responds to the execution of untrusted code in industrial environments while operating offline. The product also had to update legitimate applications independently under the same conditions. The antivirus solution successfully completed the test.
Strong Protection for Industrial Systems
KICS for Nodes protects servers and workstations. Another component, KICS for Networks, monitors network security. According to Andrei Strelkov, head of industrial cybersecurity product development at Kaspersky Lab, the certification confirms the system’s ability to protect industrial systems.
AV-Comparatives – an independent organization that tests cybersecurity products for digital devices – noted that the Russian solution “demonstrated excellent capabilities for protecting industrial environments.”
