Kit-sistems Upgrades Network Infrastructure at Kolomenskiy Zavod
The plant now has a versatile technical infrastructure for transmitting data, voice, video, and signals from various sensors.
System integrator Kit-sistems has completed another phase of network infrastructure upgrades at Kolomenskiy Zavod, a transport engineering manufacturer that is part of the TMH Group. The project focused on unifying and standardizing the plant’s structured cabling system (SCS). The system serves as the technological foundation for the manufacturing complex, local area networks, telephony, and the plant’s life-support systems.
“Industrial facilities have extremely demanding requirements for structured cabling systems because the stability of production and technological processes depends directly on the quality of system design and installation, as well as the materials used,” said Yevgeny Shlyapkin, technical director at Kit-sistems. “The network infrastructure upgrades at Kolomenskiy Zavod have created a versatile technical foundation for transmitting data, voice, video, and signals from various sensors, with high throughput and reliability.”
Shlyapkin emphasized that the project met the strictest standards.
