MAX Can Run on the Aurora Operating System
Russia’s national messenger MAX has confirmed full compatibility with Aurora, the country’s secure mobile operating system used by major state corporations—expanding the reach of domestically developed digital platforms.
Convenience and Reliability
Aurora‑based devices are widely used by major Russian organizations, including Russian Railways, Aeroflot, Inter RAO, Rostelecom, and Russian Post. The MAX team noted that users can download the messenger directly from RuStore, the national application marketplace.
Earlier, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Digital Development launched a ticket‑search service for cultural events inside MAX. The listings are available through the Gosuslugi.Kultura mini‑app, while payments are completed on the organizers’ websites. The platform is accessible across all regions of the country.
Expansion for Businesses
Since November, MAX has offered a partner‑integration capability that allows more than 700,000 Russian companies to embed their services directly into the messenger. Businesses can integrate product and service sales, payment processing, and customer‑support tools. The platform’s reliability is reinforced by its inclusion in the national registry of certified Russian software.
The confirmation of compatibility with Aurora further strengthens the ecosystem of secure domestic technologies, offering enterprises and public organizations a trustworthy communication platform aligned with national digital‑sovereignty goals.
