Moscow Enterprises Ramp Up Production of High-Tech Products
The Russian capital is emerging as a powerhouse of advanced manufacturing, with local companies boosting output and driving national innovation.

Moscow’s Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, Maxim Liksutov, announced that between January and July 2025, the city’s enterprises increased production of electronic and optical products by 9 percent compared to the same period last year. Total shipments reached 398 billion rubles (about $4.7 billion), up 19.9 percent year-on-year.
City authorities provide systematic support for high-tech companies, enabling businesses to develop and implement innovations more efficiently. Among the industry leaders are ASK, a manufacturer in the electronic components market; Savtek, which is developing equipment for advanced electronics production; and Sputniks, which has introduced new products for aerospace education.
One out of every three Moscow enterprises is part of the high-tech sector. Support measures for the capital’s industrial base include preferential investment loans and discounted land leases for large-scale construction projects.
