Moscow Hosted Russia’s First Runway Show of Engineer Robots
The first robot-engineer runway show in Russia took place in Moscow.

In Moscow, Russia’s first-ever runway show featuring engineer-robots unfolded at the Russian Technological University MIREA. Nine humanoid machines appeared before the audience dressed as representatives of core engineering specialties—including robotics engineers, IT specialists, biotechnologists, and cybersecurity experts.
Students are already well acquainted with these robots: they are actively used in the educational process at the university’s Institute of Artificial Intelligence. With their help, students practice control algorithms, conduct research in computer vision, and test new artificial intelligence systems.
New educational formats
The unusual format demonstrates that engineering education in Russia is far from conservative—it is modern, creative, and immersive. As MIREA emphasized, the university “trains specialists at the intersection of high technology, science, and creativity.” Interaction with robots is becoming part of everyday student life.
