Moscow Launches a Digital Catalog of Architecture Firms

A new platform will connect contractors and clients in urban development to improve the quality of the city’s architectural environment

A Unified Digital Space for Architecture

Moscow has introduced a new digital resource — a unified catalog of architectural bureaus. The initiative was announced by the Moscow Committee for Architecture.

The open online platform aggregates data on both established and emerging architectural firms in the capital. Studios can register on a dedicated website and fill out their profiles, effectively creating a single showcase for specialists across the city’s urban‑development ecosystem.

The platform infrastructure is already in place, and registration has begun. According to Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor for Urban Development and Construction, the catalog represents an important step toward forming a unified information space. It simplifies the search for qualified specialists and encourages knowledge sharing among firms.

Building a New Professional Environment

The platform increases market transparency and allows public and private clients to quickly find contractors based on real portfolios and proven competencies. For the professional community, it opens opportunities to strengthen business ties, find partners for complex projects, and expand visibility.

Ultimately, this level of openness and systematization serves a shared goal: improving the overall quality of the architectural environment.

“By bringing together the city’s strongest architecture teams in a single catalog, we are creating a tool that will help identify the optimal solution for every project,” said Moscow’s Chief Architect, Sergei Kuznetsov.
