Moscow’s Otkrytyy kontrol Platform Goes Mobile

Entrepreneurs in Moscow can now access more than 20 digital services from the Otkrytyy kontrol platform around the clock via a mobile app, without paperwork or in-person visits to government agencies.

The mobile application brings together all tools for interacting with oversight authorities in a single interface. Owners of shops, cafes, and service centers can review mandatory business requirements, consult with inspectors online, run self-assessments for compliance risks, file complaints, track scheduled inspections, and submit reports on resolved violations. The platform, Otkrytyy kontrol (Open Control) platform, is available to legal entities, individual entrepreneurs, and self-employed users with verified accounts on mos.ru.

“Launching a mobile app is a logical step, as it puts reliable support tools directly in users’ hands at all times. This is especially important for entrepreneurs who do not operate from a fixed office,” said Yevgeny Danchikov, a Moscow government minister and head of the city’s Main Control Directorate.

The platform has been operating for five years. The mobile app was developed jointly by the Department of Information Technology, the Main Control Directorate, and the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development. It is currently available for download on RuStore and is expected to appear on other platforms soon.
