Moscow Unveils AI-Generated Visions of Future Cityscape

A new exhibition in Russia’s capital showcases how iconic landmarks could look 200 years from now, reimagined through the lens of artificial intelligence and sustainability.

A unique exhibition in Moscow is giving visitors a glimpse into the city's distant future. Opened on August 1 along Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, 'Moscow: Building the Future' features AI-generated interpretations of iconic architectural sites. The exhibition includes speculative designs for landmarks like the main building of Moscow State University, Luzhniki Stadium, and the 'Worker and Kolkhoz Woman' sculpture. In total, 31 locations—from historic estates to modern skyscrapers—have been digitally reimagined with a focus on ecological and technological transformation.

The exhibition is organized by the Stilobat Group, which aims to explore how digital innovation, sustainable development, and new architectural thinking could shape tomorrow’s Moscow. According to board chairman Lev Mazaraki, the city is evolving toward an integrated urban model, blending technology, ecology, and cultural heritage into a unified ecosystem.

Admission is free, and the exhibit invites the public to engage not just with bold visual concepts, but also with questions about how citizens can help shape the city’s trajectory starting today.
