Moscow’s Transit Chatbot Now Features Online Quizzes and Comics for Children

In Moscow’s public transit chatbot, children now have access to interactive quizzes and vibrant comic stories designed to teach them critical safety rules and spark curiosity about how the city’s transport system works

Digital Tools for Young Passengers

Moscow has introduced an unusual interactive resource for children: a new section inside the “Moscow Transport for Kids” project featuring a chatbot named Alexandra. Through quizzes and comic-style storytelling, the assistant teaches young passengers how to stay safe while riding the metro and surface transport, and helps them better understand how the system operates.

The interactive quiz consists of ten engaging questions. Kids can discover where metro trains spend the night and which transport mode became the city’s first autonomous vehicle. Bright, playful comics introduce characters like Metrosheya, Elektrobusic, and Rechkin — each demonstrating proper behavior through relatable scenarios.

A New Approach to Transport Education

According to Maksim Liksutov, Moscow’s Deputy Mayor for Transport, this launch is part of a broader effort to cultivate a culture of safe and responsible transit use among younger generations. Educational materials are already available to nearly three million users interacting with Alexandra. Digital formats, Liksutov noted, make it easier to speak with children in a language they naturally understand.

Alexandra has been assisting Moscow residents and visitors for five years, helping them with navigation, parking availability, and a range of common transit questions. Over this period, the chatbot has processed more than 17 million inquiries. The system continues to evolve, expanding its services — and now reaching the city’s youngest passengers as well.
