The Mos.Viki (Moscow Wiki service) system, built on the city’s Mos.Khab (Moscow Hub platform), helps IT developers manage documentation required for software development, according to Mos.ru. The platform allows users to create technical specifications, descriptions, diagrams, and functional requirements, as well as maintain documentation in multiple formats, including detailed technical materials and user guides.

Mos.Viki already hosts more than 19,000 sections and 1,500 pages. According to Alexey Anisimov, head of Moscow’s Department of Information Technology, the service speeds up development, reduces errors in knowledge transfer, enables teams to replicate best practices, and supports the creation of a unified information base.

User-Friendly Tools and an AI Chatbot

The service is designed for ease of use: documents are managed as wiki pages that can be exported in various formats. Changes are saved as separate versions, and users can create templates for frequently used documents. Multiple users can edit pages simultaneously and leave comments, with mentions and email notifications also available.

The Mos.Khab platform brings together more than 28,000 developers and includes several tools for IT project management, document workflows, and communication, as well as a generative AI chatbot called KotDIT.
