MTS Launches AIoT Platform for Business Digitalization
The new system combines artificial intelligence with the industrial internet of things.
Russian telecom operator MTS has announced the launch of a new platform called MTS AIoT. The system combines industrial internet-of-things infrastructure and artificial intelligence within a single technology environment. Using the platform, customers will be able to create digital twins of their assets, monitor them in real time, and manage them through AI assistants.
Inside a unified situational-control center, the platform automatically evaluates asset performance, generates alert systems, and uses machine learning to predict potential incidents. AI agents equipped with preconfigured operational scenarios can then respond quickly to incidents and incoming requests.
MTS also says the platform can be integrated with minimal deployment effort. MTS AIoT can operate either through the cloud or on the customer’s local servers. The platform is compatible with existing internet-of-things systems and does not require companies to replace their infrastructure.
