Ozon plans to build a new high-tech logistics center in the Smolensk Region. The facility is intended to increase the speed of online order processing and product deliveries to customers.

The e-commerce company plans to invest 6 billion rubles (approximately $77 million) in the project, and the complex is expected to begin operations in 2027. The facility will cover about 100,000 square meters and will be capable of storing roughly 40 million items. It is expected to process more than 350,000 orders per day and will handle the full order fulfillment cycle, from receiving goods to assembling parcels and preparing them for delivery.

The logistics center will incorporate advanced automation systems for picking and moving goods. These systems operate significantly faster than manual processes. Warehouse operations will be managed through Ozon Tech's proprietary warehouse management platform.
