Primorye Resident Reaches National AI Competition Final With Hotel Assistant
Dmitry Filinov, a resident of Vladivostok, developed an AI assistant that simplifies hotel operations and reached the final of the Made With AI competition with the project.
Filinov's solution answers guests' questions, automates the processing of inquiries and supports communication in multiple languages. The project is already being tested in Russian hotels.
The Made With AI competition was held for the first time and attracted about 150 applications from participants across Russia. One of the eligibility requirements was no more than five years of professional experience. Projects were evaluated in two categories: Technology Product Contribution, for AI solutions for business, and Creative Solution, for the use of AI in design and content creation.
Ten participants reached the final in the Technology Product Contribution category, including Filinov. Although he did not win, he said that reaching the final itself showed that ordinary people are capable of creating new products and turning ideas that once seemed too complex into reality.
