Rosatom and Roscosmos Join Forces to Build the Technologies of the Future
Russia’s two flagship state corporations are teaming up on automation systems that could reshape both nuclear power and space industries, setting new global standards in reliability and control.

Rosatom and Roscosmos have signed a long-term partnership agreement on automation, announced at the international World Atomic Week forum. The deal calls for joint development of automated control systems for technological processes. These innovations are expected to have global impact, forming the foundation for next-generation nuclear power while setting new benchmarks in reliability and automation.
The ceremony was attended by Kirill Komarov, First Deputy Director General of Rosatom, and Boris Glazkov, First Deputy Director General of Roscosmos.
The partnership aims to combine Roscosmos’s experience in designing highly reliable systems for space with Rosatom’s expertise in managing complex nuclear energy infrastructure. Together, they plan to create intelligent systems capable of autonomously controlling technological processes, making them both safer and more efficient.
