AO ITTs Dzhyet, a subsidiary of Rosatom, has launched a new training program for nuclear energy specialists in India. The project is being implemented in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and engineering company ProSim.

The program includes developing digital twins of full-scale energy facility models in India. It will build on Russian pilot projects and simulation-based training systems, which are expected to help reduce operating costs and improve the efficiency of energy enterprises in the country.

Project partners will also contribute their expertise. ProSim will provide its modeling technologies, while the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay will supply the scientific framework and conduct training analysis.

The program is designed to meet growing demand in India for qualified nuclear energy professionals, as the country plans to double its nuclear power capacity by 2047.
