Roselektronika Develops Anti-Jamming Radio Communications System for Drones

Roselektronika, a holding company within Rostekh (State Corporation Rostec), has developed a radio communications system for unmanned aerial systems based on interference-resistant radio modems. The system is designed to maintain stable command, telemetry, and video transmission links even in electronically contested environments.

The system was unveiled at the Engineers of the Future 2026 forum in Russia's Tula Region, where the company showcased key electronic and electrical components for unmanned aircraft. For the industry, the presentation represented more than a product demonstration—it highlighted an effort to strengthen Russia's domestic supply of critical drone components.

Maintaining reliable communications remains one of the biggest technical challenges for unmanned systems. Conventional command and data links can be disrupted by electronic interference, causing a drone to lose control or stop transmitting telemetry and video. According to the developer, the new interference-resistant radio modems are designed to preserve the communications link even under such conditions.
