Rostelecom Introduces Smart Technologies at the LetoPark Residential Complex in Tomsk
Rostelecom has equipped the first building of the LetoPark residential complex with video surveillance and smart intercom systems based on its own fiber-optic communication lines.

Specialists installed 19 cameras covering the building's perimeter, parking area, elevators and common areas on the ground floors of the two-entrance building. The system can be connected to video analytics, which notifies users if a camera's view is obstructed or a video feed is interrupted, and can also detect unattended objects.
New video intercoms with facial recognition have been installed at the building entrances. In addition to using an electronic key or a smartphone app, residents can unlock the door through the built-in camera, which captures the entrant's image and creates a mathematical model of the face. If the profile is already in the database, the door opens automatically.
According to Boldova, Rostelecom's digital services are already operating successfully in the developer's two other residential districts, Levoberezhny and Severny Park.
