Russia and Qatar have opened a joint IT hub

Russia and Qatar have launched a joint IT hub that will strengthen technological cooperation and help Russian solutions enter fast‑growing Middle Eastern markets

A Strategic Gateway to the Middle East

A delegation from Tatarstan’s IT Park and Suhaim bin Ahmed bin Sultan bin Jassim Al Thani, director of Al Adid Business in Qatar, signed an agreement establishing an international IT hub. The new Corporate Innovation Hub is positioned as a strategic platform that will broaden the presence of Russian IT companies on the global tech market.

As Bulat Gabdrahmanov, Tatarstan’s Minister of Digital Development, noted while announcing the project in June 2025, the new center will serve as a bridge for collaboration with international partners. Russian companies will be able to promote their solutions in Qatar and across the region—ranging from technology for the oil and gas sector to infrastructure IT services and machine‑vision systems.

Technology Built for Export

During their visit to Qatar, representatives of the regional IT Park showcased their innovations at the Qatar Travel MART exhibition. Among them were the Guest Management Systems digital platform for event organization and the Mobile Wealth and Trading Platform—an investment and trading solution designed in accordance with Sharia law.

The creation of an international IT hub in Qatar is a strategic step that grants Russian companies direct access to one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly expanding tech markets in the Middle East.
