Russia Deploys AI to Oversee Tourism Investment Projects

The state-backed platform uses a closed digital system to consolidate data, analyze risks, and guide decision-making in real time.
Russia’s state corporation Tourism.RF has rolled out a new artificial intelligence platform to manage large-scale investment projects in the tourism sector. Dubbed the “Copilot for Project Management,” the system operates inside a secure, closed digital environment to ensure maximum data protection, according to MLTimes.
The platform unites every layer of project oversight—from contractors and working groups to departmental staff and executives—into one intelligent ecosystem. Each participant receives access tailored to their role, streamlining collaboration and decision-making.
At its core is an AI-powered chat interface that handles a wide range of daily tasks. Specialized assistants extend its functionality into risk management, business process optimization, and legal expertise. For each investment project, the system automatically generates a dedicated “Copilot,” providing teams with real-time analytics and guidance 24/7.
Tourism.RF says the technology is designed to boost transparency, speed, and efficiency across all stages of project execution. The ultimate goal: accelerate the construction of modern tourist facilities and infrastructure throughout the country.
