Gazprom Neft is developing an AI assistant designed to help manage oil production processes. The system uses artificial intelligence and digital twins of oil and gas reservoirs, wells, pipelines and other production equipment. Its algorithms analyze data from several hundred different sources.

According to the developers, users will interact with the system through text prompts. After receiving a request, the assistant will generate scenarios to improve hydrocarbon production efficiency.

In the future, the digital assistant is expected to help engineers make faster and more accurate decisions on field design, drilling, production and equipment optimization.

"We are building an ecosystem of digital twins at the intersection of complex industrial systems and advanced artificial intelligence technologies. For our employees, this represents a fundamentally new way of working, where AI algorithms handle computational tasks and integrate IT systems," said Alexander Sitnikov, head of Gazprom Neft's Scientific and Technical Center.
