The news was reported by Izvestia, citing Valeria Demaryova, head of the Cyberpsychology Lab at Lobachevsky State University.

The textbook addresses how people interact with the internet, social media, virtual reality, and digital devices. It gives particular attention to cyberbullying, tech addiction, and how digitalization affects different social groups.

Targeted at universities, the textbook will be distributed for free and included in recommended reading lists. It is intended not only for students, but also for teachers, parents, and IT professionals. Faculty members say demand for this knowledge is growing fast, with cyberpsychology experts needed in education, HR, IT development, and cybersecurity.
