Russia Launches a Digital Tracker for Rehab Specialists

A new COPM-based tool helps doctors design personalized recovery programs by focusing on patients’ goals—not just their diagnoses.

Russia has introduced its first digital COPM tracker for rehabilitation professionals, developed by the charity foundation Igra and tech company ITFB Group. The tool, unveiled at the Forum of the Future in Yekaterinburg, is designed to help doctors collect, store, and analyze patient data in a way that prioritizes individual needs and goals.

Data-Driven Recovery

The tracker can be used across rehabilitation, early intervention, palliative, and geriatric care. It provides a structured way for specialists to track patients’ progress and tailor treatment plans, applying a patient-centered approach that’s still rare in many healthcare systems.

“We’ve brought our best practices from the tech world into healthcare—user-centered design, reliable architecture, and a data-driven mindset,” said Asatur Khachatryan, co-founder of ITFB Group.

The platform comes with a desktop version and a free mobile app, which becomes available after completing a short training course. ITFB Group developed the software on a pro bono basis, while Yandex Cloud provided server capacity to host the project free of charge.

The initiative marks a growing effort in Russia to merge healthcare and digital innovation—giving doctors smarter tools to personalize recovery and improve patients’ quality of life.
