Russia Launches First Master's Program for Hybrid Communications Network Engineers
ITMO University and Russian aerospace company Byuro 1440 (Bureau 1440) are launching the country's first master's program dedicated to training hybrid communications network engineers. The program is designed to prepare professionals capable of integrating satellite and terrestrial communications into a single network.
Artificial intelligence will serve as a core engineering tool throughout the curriculum. Students will learn to analyze large datasets and, when needed, develop their own AI-powered solutions for doing so. The curriculum was designed by engineers from Byuro 1440, who will also teach courses and involve students in research projects. Every student enrolled in the program will receive a scholarship.
Byuro 1440 is part of IKS Holding and is developing a domestic satellite constellation designed to provide high-speed data transmission services.
