Russia Launches Its First AI Music Composer — and It Writes, Sings, and Produces in Under a Minute
The new homegrown neural network RoboMix can generate a complete song — lyrics, melody, arrangement, and vocals — in less than 60 seconds.
Russia has introduced its first AI music generator, a system called RoboMix, built by the Moscow-based company Robotext.io. Unlike many popular Western models, RoboMix is powered entirely by domestic technology, running on a neural network trained on 3.5 billion parameters — with no reliance on foreign providers or intellectual property.
Accessible through a web browser or API, the platform allows users to describe an idea for a song and set key parameters such as genre, mood, or tempo. The AI then produces a fully original track — complete with lyrics, melody, arrangement, and vocal performance — in under a minute.
From Hobbyists to Professionals
Since its launch in October 2025, RoboMix has already generated more than 12,000 songs, attracting both amateur creators and professional musicians.
One of the platform’s most popular tools is an automatic rhyme generator, which complements the song-creation engine by helping users polish their lyrics before producing a finished track.
By combining creative AI and audio engineering, RoboMix pushes Russia into the global race for AI-generated music — where machines aren’t just writing songs, but performing them too.
