Russia’s Far East Launches AI-Vostokoved Assistant to Help Businesses Enter the Chinese Market
The smart assistant is designed to guide users through every stage of export activity, from early planning to first deliveries.

Researchers at the Artificial Intelligence Center of Far Eastern Federal University have developed a digital assistant for exporters called AI-Vostokoved (AI-Orientalist). The tool is intended to help Russian businesses navigate entry into the Chinese market.
The assistant guides users through all stages of export activity – from the initial idea to first shipments. The Primorsky Krai government’s press service told IT-Russia about the launch.
Everything in a Single Telegram Bot
All the tools needed for a successful move into the Chinese market have been brought together in a single Telegram bot, according to the developers.
As the regional Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations noted, the digital platform was developed jointly with the Primorsky Krai Export Support Center. That, officials say, ensures users receive up-to-date and reliable information.
Convenient and Practical
Businesses no longer need to search for information on their own and risk costly mistakes – an important consideration given how high the price of error can be in export operations. Users can rely on the AI assistant to provide guidance, prepare documents, and offer practical advice.
Earlier, IT-Russia reported that Rosselkhoznadzor launched a free mobile application, the Argus-Fito system, to verify the authenticity of issued certificates. The app allows users to check quarantine, phytosanitary, and other documents.
