Russian AI Is to Streamline Document Work in Construction
Digital tools are set to be rolled out at scale starting in 2026.

Russia plans to begin large-scale deployment of artificial intelligence technologies in the construction sector in 2026, according to the press service of the federal Ministry of Construction of Russia. Among the most promising areas, the ministry highlighted AI assistants designed to work with documentation and regulatory frameworks.
In several regions, pilot projects are set to launch in pricing, document verification, and even digital territorial planning. At a recent meeting, officials defined an action plan and key milestones for AI implementation.
Cloud Solutions and Chatbots
Services are also being developed to handle routine inquiries. Neural networks are already helping review project documentation and generate architectural and planning solutions. A dedicated expert group on artificial intelligence is operating within the Ministry of Construction.
