Russian Architects and Designers Count on Interactivity and AI
Experts outline how technology will reshape 3D visualization and landscape design in the coming years.

In Russia, the fields of 3D visualization and landscape design are actively adopting advanced technologies. Alexandra Karnukaeva, founder of the Miji Group and an expert in 3D visualization and branding, told IT RUSSIA which services and trends are expected to have the greatest impact on architecture and design in Russia over the next two to three years.
Real-Time Visualization and Interactive Presentations
According to Karnukaeva, several key technologies and trends will shape architecture, development, and environmental design in Russia over the next two to three years.
Among them are real-time visualization and interactive presentations. Interactive models, virtual walkthroughs, and videos are becoming standard tools for developers. They are used not only for marketing, but also for approvals, testing how spaces will be used, and working with environments, facades, and landscaping at early stages of a project.
The design of buildings, terrain, landscaping, engineering networks, and public spaces is increasingly being integrated into a single system. Landscape design is becoming a full-fledged part of architectural projects rather than a separate stage that follows them.
A Shift in Focus
Special attention is also being paid to the digital transformation of how vegetation is handled.
In addition, the focus is shifting from form to usage scenarios. Modern technologies make it possible to design and visualize not just attractive objects, but a holistic user experience: routes, courtyards, public spaces, lighting, safety, and the everyday logic of life within a project.
As a result, Russian architects and designers are using AI as a powerful tool to create more thoughtful, technologically advanced, and human-centered spaces and environments.
