Russian Company to Introduce an AI-Based Advisory System for Pig Farming
By 2030, the agro-industrial holding plans to implement around 100 IT projects.

Agro-industrial holding AGROECO developed a digital transformation strategy in 2025, planning to implement around 100 IT projects across all areas of its business by 2030.
According to the company’s press service, the large-scale program will cover all business segments. It includes digital twins of functions to optimize processes and enable scenario modeling; AI-based solutions for forecasting and planning, crop rotation optimization, monitoring animal housing conditions, quality control of products and production processes; IT solutions to improve traceability and operational control; as well as automation and robotics to digitally transform routine operations and reduce manual labor.
What Has Already Been Done
In 2025, the holding began work on creating an AI-based advisory system in pig farming. The company also plans to boost the efficiency of its production facilities through improved event forecasting based on big data collected via IoT systems.
In addition, AGROECO has deployed 50 software robots that reduce employee workload and optimize routine processes. The system performs tasks accurately and quickly, integrates easily with corporate information systems, and operates around the clock.
