Russian Developer Builds a Neural Network for Fellow Programmers
The MWS DevRails platform automates software development, with AI agents taking over a large share of routine work.
Russian company MTS Web Services has developed an AI-powered task tracker designed specifically for software development. The platform, called MWS DevRails, embeds artificial intelligence agents directly into the development workflow. According to the company, the system can cut routine work in half and generate up to 30% of program code.
The product is aimed at both large enterprises and startups. An AI Product Owner formulates business requirements, an AI Analyst translates them into technical tasks for developers, and an AI Developer generates up to 30–40% of new code and assembles release versions of the product. AI-based QA agents automatically test the software, saving testers up to half of their working time.
Sharing Experience
As company CEO Pavel Voronin noted, the new tool makes it possible to move from isolated automation to nearly autonomous development cycles.
Similar technologies are already emerging at other Russian IT companies. Together, they are opening up new opportunities for programmers and businesses looking to build digital products. The domestic software market, developers say, is increasingly evolving through cooperation and the sharing of expertise.
