Russian Developer Upgrades Platform for Automating IT Infrastructure

Astra Group has released Astra Automation 2.0, a unified system designed to reduce risks, prevent failures, and streamline enterprise‑level IT operations.

Russia’s software developer Astra Group has announced the release of Astra Automation 2.0, a comprehensive platform designed to manage and automate IT infrastructure across enterprises.

The key upgrade is the Unified UI — a single control interface that consolidates the platform’s main modules. This approach simplifies system administration, making configuration, process execution, and analytics more intuitive.

The platform now supports native deployment in Kubernetes clusters, allowing companies to scale more easily and integrate the system into modern cloud environments. Traditional deployment options on physical servers or virtual machines remain available.

Security at the Core

Developers placed special emphasis on launch security. The update introduces Fast Fail — a technology that performs an intelligent pre‑installation check of the infrastructure. The system analyzes available storage, node accessibility, access rights, and configuration validity.

Kirill Dobrynin, director of Astra Group’s automation department, emphasized that with Astra Automation 2.0, companies accelerate transformation, reduce operational risks, and achieve measurable results without excessive investment.

Overall, Astra Automation 2.0 reduces the cost of IT resource usage, minimizes downtime caused by system failures, and standardizes automation across organizations. The technology highlights the high level of Russian engineering, meeting the expectations of demanding enterprise environments.
